Character: Consume and destroy, letting nothing get in your way. Crave for all and divide it with no one, leaving a scorched trail after you. Use the many as slaves, there's no room for two masters or mercy. True power is an overwhelming torrent of fire and death; you can be it or be devoured by it.

Powers: Baum, god of drought and destruction, one of the many African pantheons, calls Gehenna home. Although only a lesser power, he is very fierce and inescapable, receiving respects from the other gods. He occasionally moves his realm after he lays waste to the current place.

Description: Kimbao is a hungry realm in the fiery Chamada, with few places to walk in the surface. Breathing is quite difficult as the air is too dry and harms exposed skin and tissue, making also wounds particularly vicious here.

The realm's boundaries comprise a radius of around 15 leagues and Baum moves it as soon as he is through with eroding the one he is on now. The floating rocks are surrounded by strange looking lava. The molten rock flickers as if alive. What is alive is not the lava, however, but with close examination thousands of red ants can be seen crowding it. These are the realm's petitioners, transformed by their cruel master, and they are surely starving as they consume in seconds anything unfortunate enough to fall on the lava, including fiends and almost anything else. The red ants are immune to any kind of charm and fire, but take double damage by cold.

Several entrances can be found leading to the underground where the petitioners erode the ground, eating through the very rock. As one goes deeper he increasingly meets more ants, until he enters the cave of Baum's throne in a sea of ants, where the power sits without patience waiting for more. Finding his spells doom for most sods, but Baum may test those that are brave. Should he survive an onslaught of attacks by his servants he may be allowed to leave or deal with the power that, surprisingly, is quite open to negotiation if the basher really has something he might want. Baum will also take notice if someone tries to contact one of his servants with psionics.

Principal Towns:Towns as a basher knows them are nonexistent, although oceans of red ants going in the same direction are all too common. Towns in this realm, or rather, invaded by this realm don't last much longer.

Special Conditions:The air is extremely dry, damaging the lungs for 1d3 per turn. Spells of dust or smoke breathing counter this damage. The red ants act as a normal swarm (see MM) but cause +1 damage/round and are completely immune to gas, fire and acid, but take double from cold and are scared away by lightning.

Principal Non-Player Characters: A company of baatezu under the direction of hamatula captain Jorhalt (Pl/ male baatezu (hamatula)/Fated/LE) is attempting to learn the pattern of the realm movements and use it to lure the tanar'ri into being eaten by the ants.

Services: No services are provided here, but captured ants are sure to anger Baum and reach a price as high as 1gp per ant in the Bazaar. It is rumored that some kind of deadly poison can be made of their husks.
