Earworm

This disgusting creature roams the watery caverns of Phlegethon, where it feeds on debris. What is most stressful about it is the fact that in presence of major beings, such as humanoids or big mammals, it climbs their bodies until it reaches the ears and slithers inside where it begins to feed on the body's liquids.

This theft is not of a major importance (almost every being could develop itself perfectly with worms feeding on it), but a very astonishing side effect is that the worm acts as a sound amplifier. This effect can prove very dangerous in the worm's homeplane where it reduces the time of becoming barmy by the effects of the winds by half and gives a penalty of -4 to all saving throws versus sound attacks. However, in other Planes this amplification can cure and dispel the effects of a cause deafness spell. Also, it gives +10% to detect noise throws (or +2 in proficiency checks of a sonic nature).
