Formerly he was the Knight of Madness, an anti-saint that battled the seven sisters. His Famine horseman figure is linked to abandon and necessity of the soul. Among the many broken minds that litter the realm, the power lies in despair incapable of getting himself together. He stalks proxies and realms for some sustenance of divine energy, sometimes even preaching about him in Windglum. His mythical beggar-with-the-sack figure has allowed him some decades of decadence, yet survival. The entrance to his realm is a sea of faces, of all his petitioners, that winds up in a vast vertical tunnel of doors, each leading to a petitioner's own world, where lots of maniacal energy help maintain the screaming floating power barely alive in its center. Once entering a door, there's but some minutes before the invader himself becomes a petitioner, engulfed in the isolation of its inhabitant. Many Bleakers tried to sooth the sods by making them come to acceptance, but even for them it is hard to create change and it becomes too dangerous to try. |
