After large scale destruction on this Power's Prime, a twisted empire that was built upon the constant bickering of its nobles and treachery against nearby kingdoms decided to mend its ways. The change of heart was partially because of a new insight, partially because of hunger. The wounds left by war, earthquakes and storms had had their impact on the people. Their religious practices had changed, and the meaning behind their holy books had been warped. The power had followed, and is now also trying to mend his ways. Together with the movanic deva Kotris and her fellow agathinon, he moved to Bytopia and now hides away in Shurrock as he passes through a time of adaptation. The purpose of diplomacy for him is now peace and not treachery, healing and not murder; his shadows are not cold, but comfortable, protective and helpful; they appease hate and take away fears. The nearby celestials are mostly unaware that he is there, or barely tolerant. Some are just waiting for him to make some mistake, so they may declare war on the power's servants. The realm is a huge tower, struck by a lightning bolt. Avrumalzârush fell hard on the ground when his people were being decimated, but the remains of the tower still stand. The gnomes wonder: will it ever rise again? |
