After ages upon ages, the skin hardened and became encompassed with rock. It became The Black Heart.James thrived in the depths of the cosmos. He gave birth, with a lonely godess, to two sons: Damon and Dubock. Both faught for the love of their father, who could not have cared less for anything they did. In the end they left the dark throne, to start their own empires. One became the first ruler of Baator, the other, ruler of the Abyss.James, alone and old, weak from his long-forgotten battle and by the corrupting force of the depths, wandered the plane, now completely alone as his sons left and his followers immersed into the plane. The Black Heart is the most covetted artifact in the inner planes. It is the bringer of death, of the end of all times, and of the utopia that James promised his followers to bring. In the rebellion of James, he promised to unleash the multiverse from the hold of Primoria and the Time Council. To let the inhabitants of the plane decide their own faith. Of course, there must be a ruler, and this shall be James. To activate the gate and bring forth James, or at least the corrupted soul that remains of him, the Black Heart must be inserted in a living intelligent body. The "victim" must make a DC 48 Will save or the power of the heart kills him. Only a survivor may activate the spell using a lost scroll as covetted as the heart itself, and thus the spirit of James enters the victim, freeing him from his prison in the depths of the cosmos.James does not promise anything to his savior, and will probably kill him. There must be someone conducting the ritual since the victim can't insert the heart himself.
