This spell restores any object decayed over time back to its original form. An affected object has its original hit points and hardness restored. It becomes functional again, although the DM may require a Craft check to restore functionality to a complex machine. Only objects destroyed (or otherwise rendered inoperative) as a consequence of aging can be affected by the sands of time spell. For a potential object to qualify for being restored, it must meet size and age requirements: You may restore one Small or smaller object or an equivalent number of larger objects per caster level. A Medium object counts as two Small or smaller objects, a Large object as four, a Huge object as eight, a Gargantuan object as sixteen, and a Colossal object as thirty-two. The effective temporal "reach" of the spell varies by caster level, as specified in the table below.

Caster Level: Date of Destruction:
9th-10th up to 10 years ago
11th-13th up to 50 years ago
14th-16th up to 100 years ago
17th-19th up to 500 years ago
20th and above up to 1,000 years ago (or more; DM's discretion)

Material Component: Diamond dust worth at least 1/10th of the target object's original market price, mixed with either ash, dust, or salt from the respective quasielemental plane.
