Despite the form-control set by the Slaad Lords through the Spawning Stone, the slaadi continue to mutate, giving rise to unpredictable forms as befits the plane of chaos.

I didn't mean I dislike the randomness, it's just that I prefer selectable abilities on a menu, preferably differentiated by power level. Like the astral construct menus.

Also, how do you rule on the 50% chance of being mistaken for a red/blue/hezrou/whatever?

Although random is quite having a small chances to pick good stuff but it might bring you to a big surprises. -more soundcloud plays
