Special Properties: The planeshifter outfit gives the wearer a +2 bonus on Fortitude savesfrom sudden changes in the climate while traveling from plane to planeas well as sudden changes of climate within the plane.
Cost: 40 gp.
Weight: 16 lb.

It is the standard price for this type of clothing. Even in planscape 40 gp is alot for your common guy on the street.

Even if the pricing is standard for clothing, we're talking about a benefit to saves that applies to weather spells as well, since they do create sudden changes in the climate.

The cold weather outfit from PHB gives a Fort save bonus.

The price is fine IMO, but the concept isn't. How do you make a mundane item that protects you from different climate changes? Not even a low-level spell can protect you from both heat and cold at the same time... so how do you do it with an apron & goggles? What's it treated with?
