A Signer, reality, resurrection, and a god

It happened rather unexpectedly.

A God was responsible for the resurrection of a Signer. It was Her first of such practices She'd believed.

The final End for the Signer had come quickly upon him... Death smiled... He had claimed his next victim... She reached out... reached with Her great and divine ability...

And She caught this ephemeral thing that mortal’s call a soul... Her divine hand closed slightly around the unchanging eternal form. She had taken it from straight from the cold clutches of Death's bony fingers. Smiling for a moment, relishing in the feeling of Her first triumph over Death, She then attempted to rejoin this thing, this soul, to the mortal's body... She stopped suddenly, for a moment... a lifetime passes in human terms. She had realised that She was now using an instinct She didn't know She possessed. No one had told Her how to resurrect mortals... it just seemed to come into Her divine mind.

"Where did this knowledge come from...?" A God, was asking itself about the origins of the knowledge it suddenly found itself possessing.

And so, She reached out... She reached out with Her divine power and Her divine mind... and in so doing, She touched the Signer's soul... She touched his soul and, without intending too, She touched his mind for the briefest period... Again, for just a moment, She was amazed...! A God was amazed by a mortal...? She never heard anything like this happening before. Her brothers and sisters had said nothing... They instructed Her in the ways of godhood... but they had never mentioned anything about resurrection or what She had just seen in this mortal's mind. Deciding to puzzle over the complexities of celestial matters at a later time (for Gods have all of time do they not...), She resumed Her duty. She again touched his mind with her divine grace, and in doing so, She again found herself touching his mind... “It was not a mistake then… not a cosmological aberration”. She convinced Herself. She looked at what She had seen in the mind of the Signer... what She Herself had experienced... a God... gaining experience from a mortal... "How can such a thing occur...?" She asked herself.

In touching the mind and soul of the Signer, the God found Herself touching the souls and the minds of everyone and everything in the world.

She felt that She now understood what She had experienced earlier... of Her knowledge about resurrection, Her amazement at this mortal's mind, of Her what She had seen in there. For this world, this Prime, originated within the mind of the Signer. By using Her divine ability, by bonding with this Signer's soul and mind, She had inadvertently become connected with every living and non-living creature and object on the face of this Prime world.

She reflected once again... Such a flood of humanity was numbing to Her... She had found Herself humbled by the experience... "Humbled by a mortal...!" Even for a god in avatar form, this was unprecedented.

For this God, a being who had spent an entire infinity above the concerns of (what She might have deemed 'inferior' mere seconds ago) life-forms on the Prime... She had found Herself, literally, over Her divine head... A wash in a torrent of human experience and human reality. It was like She was remembering things She did not know She'd forgotten.

And then... self-realisation hit her like divine wrath... the divine wrath of a creator god... The realisation of things in Her reality... She had come to now understand why She did not know about the things She had learned and seen and experienced in the mind of the Signer... It was because She had just been created... just now... in the last instant of life... a striving of concentrated effort... in the mind... of the Signer...
