The Fire Blast spell allows the caster to blast forth a cone of raging flames from her fingertips, similar to the spell Cone of Cold but harnessing heat instead of chill. The cone of fire originates at the caster and extends outwards, with those touched by it (apart from the caster) suffering 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 15d6). A successful Reflex save halves the damage taken. This spell was originally created by the Flame Guild of the prime world of Reth, whose battlemages use it for driving back troop formations and forcing enemies out of cover. |
