This is a rather strange spell, develloped mostly by that rare breed of druid that operates in the confines of an aquatic environment, be it on the Plane of Water, deep within Oceanus, or just at the bottom of a Prime sea.

This spell mimics the effects of many other wall spells: it creates a barrier. In this case, the barrier is one made of a multitude of sea life -- glittering scales of multitudes of fish, octopi, jellifish, crustaceans, even an occasional shark or whale, imposes itself as the wall.

When used out of water, this is fairly ineffectual. The fish-wall comes into existance and then fall apart, flopping around on the ground and creating quite a mess, but nothing really havoc-causing. Due to the slickness of the life and the water with it, those who come within the area of the spell must make a Reflex save or slide and fall upon their bottoms.

This spell's true effect comes from being used underwater. In this case, the spell calls aquatic life of all sorts from nearby, and causes them to impose themselves where the caster designates. To accomplish this requires a rather complex combination of enchantment and conjuration.

The wall is always shaped like a flat plane, oriented wherever the caster desires. The wall is one inch thick per four caster levels, composed of one five-foot square per level. You can double the wall's area by halving its thickness. The wall need not rest upon any surface, and can even be controlled by the caster to move while the duration persists, as long as the caster concentrates.

The wall cannot be broken through like most walls. Because the sea life is under the control of the caster, it can swim and change direction, and every fish killed may be replaced. The sea life wall can be directed to engulf creatures, and does so by moving over them (unless they pass a Reflex save with a DC of the spell's). Creatures engulfed like this are hidden, but also unable to see outside of the wall. Striking the sea wall has little effect, save to cause blood to spill into the water, and maybe irritate a shark you poked.

Once the spell ends, the wall disperses, it's parts sent back to where they came from.

Material Component: This spell requires at least one fish to cast.
