| To the morally ambiguous there are few things that are as annoying as alignment detecting magics or abilities. A caster using Terenos' Mirrored Ethics appears to be of the same alignment as anyone utilizing abilities or spells to detect alignment. A Paladin (Lawful Good) using her ability to detect evil, will sense that a protected caster is of good alignment, regardless of the true alignment of the protected caster. Similarly, any divine or arcane spells that detect alignment, or psionic powers of similar ilk, will always show a protected caster to be of identical alignment to the person initiating the detection ability.
