Lesser Spacial Bent

This power allows you to bend space around your body, using your opponents melee attacks against them.

The next time a foe scores a melee attack that succeded in touching you (e.g.: hits your Armor Class without any Armor bonuses), but not in hitting you (e.g.: doesn't hit you with your Armor Bonus), you open a warp in the fabric of space. This allows you to drive the attack into anyone you choose.

You get a free attack against anyone you would threaten as if you had the exact same reach as the opponent who attacked you, using your normal ranged attack bonus, with any modifiers that apply on the weapon that touched you.

If you succeed in the ranged attack, you deal damage as if you were wielding the same weapon as the attacker, only as a ranged weapon (e.g.: without Strength bonuses, but otherwise as the attacker).

This power does not take effect if you are actually hit by the attack -- only if it touches you, but does not hit you. If, however, the "touch-but-not-hit" mechanic seems to be a bit of a low chance for this power to work, you can make it a garunteed thing, at the expense of having to ready an action to take the blow. Once you activate the power, until it fades, you may ready an action to bend space for one attack against you that round.

Of course, this power only affects attacks, objects forcefully pushed against you. It cannot teleport anything else anywhere.

Example: You activate this power before entering into melee with a foe with a +1 longsword of frost, who has a reach of 5 ft. Your AC against touch attacks is 13, but your AC with armor is 16. The foe manages to touch you, but not to damage you (e.g.: rolled a 13, 14, or 15 on their attack roll). Now, Lesser Spacial Bent allows you to bend the space and use this attack against someone else. You can immediately make a ranged attack against a foe within 5 feet of you (using the attacker's reach), as if you're using a +1 longsword of frost (e.g.: +1 enhancement bonus to the attack roll; 1d8 slashing damage +1d6 cold damage if a hit is scored).
