Heightened senses

Through means of this power, the caster sharpens all his five senses: sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell. This has several effects, which are described below; the DM can allow additional applications as he sees fit.First, the caster has better chances of detecting people who are hiding in shadows or moving silently, and traps are much easier to find; he is granted a +5 enhancement bonus to all Spot, Listen and Search checks. Opponents hiding in shadows or moving silently must roll again when they become exposed to a person with heightened senses.Second, the caster can track anyone like a hound. He is granted a +5 enhancement bonus to all tracking-related Wilderness Lore checks. Third, the caster’s sight and hearing ranges are tripled, and he is granted darkvision as per the 2nd level power darkvision. He can, for example, identify someone 400 meters away or hear a whispered conversation two tables away from him in a tavern full of brawling patrons.Fourth, the caster can taste poisons or other toxins to identify them in quantities too small to cause him damage. Fifth, the caster can identify nearly anything by touch. He can, for example, distinguish two coins after having touched only one of them. He can also say if something has been touched in the last five minutes by merely touching it himself.
