Vengeance

Given Power:
  1. Smite: Once per day, you may use a Smite ability against a known follower of your opposed religion (Corellon Larethian for Gruumsh clerics, Heironeous for Hextor clerics. Others will list the opposed faith along with domain.) You may add your Charisma modifier (if positive) to the roll, and can deal 1 extra point of damage per level. This is a supernatural ability, and is only effective against devout worshippers (including preists, but not limited to them) of the opposing deity.
  2. Inquisition: As Rangers have their favored enemy, so priests of Vengeance have concentrated upon their enemy -- those of a particular faith. The cleric gets a +1 bonus to damage rolls (even with ranged weapons out to 30 ft.) against anything displaying icons of the hated religion. This stems from their intense (yet conrolled) rage, and also applies to Bluff, Intimidate, Listen, Search, and Spot checks made with regards to the hated religion. If the ranger's bonus may also be used, this stacks with such a bonus.
