Suisseen Leather
A favored armor among adventurers who wish to retain their freedom of movement, suisseen leather is crafted from the membrane of the suisseen, a creature of the Elemental Plane of Water (see the Planescape Monstrous Compendium 3 pg. 102-103 for details). The leather appears nearly transparent and has a slight rubbery feel. Arcane spellcasters find it lighter and easier to cast in than normal leather (thanks to the unique properties of the suisseen skin). Due to the rarity of suisseen skin, adventurers wishing some of the material must generally travel to the Plane of Water personally if they wish to acquire it.
