"You're going where? You don't want to go there, friend, unless you've got pinchers and sixteen legs. You wouldn't fit in."

Krijjt has been in the Guildhall Ward for a long, long time. It was founded millennia ago by formian exiles, and sentient insects from Acheron and xixchil from the Prime joined them shortly thereafter. Since then, the barrio has become a haven for intelligent insects who wish to become part of Sigil's society but desire to live in buildings built for them. Certainly, not all of Sigil's insect population lives here (see below, especially), but a good share of them do. After the Great Upheaval, many of Krijjt's inhabitants joined the Guvners or the Ciphers, and many still belong to these groups.

DescriptionKrijjt is an irregular mass of hives, burrows, webs, cocoons, tunnels, nests, and dwellings resembling those of humanoids or bariaur. Many of the homes here are difficult for non-flying races to access, and others are camouflaged somehow.

Current ChantThe residents of Krijjt hold a bi-monthly tenants' meeting where they discuss relevant news, complain about their neighbors, and eat buggy things. If invited by a tenant, outsiders can visit; this is a good place to learn valuable chant.
