Knowledge [the Baatezu]

Anonymous's picture
You are well versed in the lore of baatezu creatures. This skill may be used to help determine the probable lairs, dining habits, and history of such creatures (DC 15). Whenever a character with this skill confronts a baatezu, he or she may try to identify the creature (discerning between a lemure and a nupperibo, for instance). In addition, providing the character makes another successful skill check (DC 25), he or she recalls the creature's specific weaknesses and natural defenses or immunities. At the DM's discretion, a failed skill check (in either of these cases) will reveal misleading or even completely erroneous information which may actually strengthen or otherwise benefit the baatezu.Checks: Answering a question within your field of study has a DC 10 (for really easy questions) 15 (for basic questions), or 20 to 30 (for really tough questions). Retry: None. A failed check indicates you don't know the information, and must research to obtain it. Special Notes: None. By: Matti KiviharjuImported from a previous version of Planewalker.com
