Gehennan Spice

Gehennan Spice is a new drug that's becoming very popular amongst Sensates. This substance is a fine orange-red powder harvested from a rare species of lower planar plant that can be found around the volcanoes of Gehenna. Recently the yugoloths have started farming the spice plants and processing them into the spice which is then sold on to buyers across the Great Ring.

Gehennan Spice can be easily taken, as a standard action provoking an attack of opportunity, and each dose gives the recipient a bonus of +10 to Spot and Listen checks as it taps straight into their nervous systems and boosts their senses to greatly heightened levels for ten minutes. As well as this it creates a sense of well-being and calm, and so has a rapidly growing customer base amongst wealthy Cagers, Sensates and others.

Some cutters, however, are somewhat worried about the yugoloths' motives in purveying the Spice, doubting the 'loths are doing it just for the jink. One rumour is that the Spice is highly addictive, so that the 'loths will have control over all those who take the drug regularly by controlling its production.
