Gehennan Fire

Carnifex's picture

Gehennan Fire is a volatile and viscous oil, which upon contact with air explodes into flame; it is collected from certain volcanic oil springs in Gehenna, and carefully siphoned off and distilled.

Fiends love to use the stuff as a vile torture instrument, since the tarlike substance clings to skin and burns slowly.

It is also used as a grenadelike weapon, like Alchemist's Fire.

Gehennan Fire

This is about twice as expensive as alchemist's fire. In terms of damage scaling 1d8 and then a DC 18 (3 points higher) save to avoid catching on fire.
