Armour of Twitching Chaos

Even amidst the endless variety that lies in the planes, there are few sights stranger than armour of this type. It's maker is unknown, but sometimes those who are unlucky enough to be struck uncounscious in a plane of chaos awake wrapped in this alien artifice, which is quite difficult to remove thereafter.

It appears as a mass of peculiar intermingled hides; of feathers, chitin and scale, among others less recognisable. These textures shift randomly, mingling nauseously, providing unpredictable protection. Thus far, both the nature of this armour and the means of it's construction have remained hidden.

When the armour's wearer is hit with a critical melee attack, the armour screeches loudly and lunges at the attacker. This returns half the damage done to the wearer back to the attacker. +2d4 (roll for each attack).

This armor has a DC 25 Str check to remove. It likes to cling.
