Vorr are intelligent, hyena-like creatures that dwell on the lower planes. While a lone vorr is not a problem for a well-armed party, Vorrs never travel alone, instead they rely on pack hunting tactics. For more information see the Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix II (pg. 120). CombatTrip (Ex): If a vorr hits with its bite attack, it can immediately attempt to trip its opponent as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the vorr.Sneak Attack (Ex): Any time a vorr’s chosen target would be denied it's Dexterity bonus to AC, or when the vorr is flanking the target, its bite inflicts an additional 2d6 points of damage. This ability is in all ways similar to a 3rd-level rogue’s sneak attack ability.Shadow Form (Su): Once per day, a vorr can take the form of shadow. This effectively makes the vorr incorporeal (+1 or better magic weapons to hit, 50% chance to ignore damage from a corporeal source), though the creature cannot attack in this form. This ability functions only at night, and then only for 10 minutes.Skills: Vorr receive a +2 racial bonus to Listen and Spot, Hide and Move Silently checks, and a +4 racial bonus to Wilderness Lore checks when tracking by scent. They receive a +6 racial bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks when in shadow form.Habitat/SocietyVorrs are classical pack creatures, and a great deal of their energy is put towards social interaction amongst pack-mates.Vorrs have a rudimentary understanding that some kind of power watchs over them, and about roughly one-third of all vorr packs are lead by a low level shaman with basic divine spell-casting powers. (Animal and Protection domains)0EcologyVorrs are carnivores at heart, though they will eat carrion if no fresh kills are available. Those vorrs living on the lower planes avoid the native fiends, those if things do get desperate packs have been known to take down least and lesser breeds of fiends.
