Obese and hairless, the pallid blight is covered in rolls of pale blubber, the color of grave worms, from which drips an acidic secretion. Its froglike eyes burn yellow, its teeth are sharp, and instead of wings it has another pair of arms. The pallid blight leaves scorched and smoking footprints as its body acid dissolves the environment.Pallid blights tend to gather small armies of skeletons, created from the corpses of humanoids slain by its acid cloud. 0CombatIn combat, the pallid blight stirs up a cloud of acid fog about itself, then wades into melee combat, directing its skeletal followers as it sees fit. The masters over the more powerful ones usually provide them with metallic, acid-resistant swords or polearms.0Habitat/SocietyThe pallid blight, or Relendu, is a type of gehreleth (aka demodand), a fiend from Carceri, even lower than the farastu, lacking the ability to fly. The gehreleths are unilaterally immune to its acid attacks, so it must satisfy its aggression by bullying mortals and other outsiders. Pallid blights are usually summoned to this realm by ritual, although occasionally they are sent by demons or other forces to spread chaos in the world.0EcologyThe pallid blight is a scourge upon the land, laying waste to anything organic with its acidic vapors. It wanders slowly, deliberately burning away trees, animals, and other living things, creating skeletons in its wake.0
