Personality:

The aasimar are referred to as "plane-touched" - that is they the result of a relationship between a planar creature and mortal. In the case of the aasimar, the planar parent is obviously a celestial beings from the upper planes.

Courage, honor, nobility - these are just some the words that best describe the aasimar. Being the descendants of celestials, they are worthy of respect, but also beleagured by responsibility. Aasimar are ever vigilant, for purveyors of evil may lurk around any corner, and may take any form.

It is best if no one knows your true heritage. Despite your inherent nobility, you must earn the respect of other beings, not just expect it because of what you are.Of course, there will always be one or two that can't live up to the scrutiny and turn stag, becoming the most untrustworthy spivs that ever cross the planes.

Physical Description:

Aasimar represent the cream of the mortal crop. They are generally gloriously beautiful humans with golden hair, fair skin and piercing eyes. They are quite often mistaken for half-elves, or even true aasimon, because of their innate purity and otherwordly beauty. However not all aasimar appear exactly the same. Depending on what kind of celestial blood courses through their veins some may have green skin, avorial or leonal lower bodies, or even vestigial wings. A few rare aasimar have even inherited the spell-like abilities of their celestial progenitor.

Relations:

Aasimar have usually been well-treated by human society, and prefer to live among humans. Other races tend to give aasimar a little more respect than they would a normal cutter. On the other hand, tieflings usually feel anger and bitterness towards aasimar, and receive disdain in return.
