These abilities are as the spells cast by a 5th level sorcerer (save DC 10 + spell level).Spikes (Ex): By contracting its body, a spinagon can loose a volley of 3 spikes as a standard action. This attack has a range of 100 feet and a range increment of 20 feet. A spike threatens a critical hit on a natural attack roll of 19 or 20. The creature can launch only twelve spikes in any one day. Adittionaly, the spikes burst into flame when loosed and can ignite flammable materials and anyone hit by the spinagon’s spike attack must succeed at a Reflex save (DC 11) or catch fire.Summon Baatezu (Sp): Once per day a spinagon can attempt to summon 1d3 spinagons with a 35% chance of success.0Habitat/SocietySpinagons are common across all nine layers of Baator, though they are most prevelant upon layers three through seven. Spinagons serve as loyal messengers and lackeys for more powerful baatezu (which nearly all of them), seldom failing to deliver a properly memorized missive.0EcologyThough lowly, spinagons gain respect fast by gathering and marshalling hordes of lemures and nupperibos into armies for more powerful baatezu. Knowing which side your bread is buttered on causes the spinagons no end of grief, as they are constantly assaulted by mid-level baatezu who the spinagons have left hanging whilst seeing to the whims of the more powerful ones.0
