The Keepers and modrons are the only sources for descriptions of these creatures's true form. The name came from slaad wanderings on the Prime. The creature seems vaguely serpentine, about 6 feet long, with many knot-like formations, and is checkered black and othe colors. The black parts exist on Limbo, while the rest may be seen by astral dwellers near color pools to Limbo, colored white. If reflected in a mirror, numbers and formula appear in place of an image, as well as white energy strings coming from their bodies. When viewed within the infra-red spectrum they appear as mythical symbols, the dragon, the monkey or the pyramid. CombatConturbos attack only if they feel threatened, touching with either of their ends. However their powers usually are received with much hostility. They seem oblivious to that fact.Charisma Drain (Su): Those whose charisma is reduced to 0 by the conturbo become helpless until at least 1 point of Charisma is restored.Detect Memories (Su): A conturbo immediately detects all surrounding creatures' memories in a 20-foot radius, unless magically warded against scrying. The conturbo accesses the Akashic records of the targets. It usually uses these memories to make the memories real with its shapechanging abilities.Shapechange (Su): Conturbo change form as per the spell shapechange cast by a 20th level sorcerer. This form usually recreates any particular memory of one of the surrounding creatures. This process is involuntary and the creature cannot stop it of its own will.Incorporeal: The shapechanger exists both on the Astral and Limbo simultaneously. They can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, +1 or better magic weapons, or magic, with a 50% chance to ignore any damage from a corporeal source. They can also pass through solid objects at will, and their own attacks pass through armor. Because they have no physical body, all of their movements are complete silent.Habitat/SocietyThe Conturbo does not have an identity. That might seem anathema to Limbo, but is what happens with excessive openness to the multiverse, the multiverse becomes you. Thus the Unity of Rings proves itself true again. Things taken to their absolutes become the same, like Law and Chaos or Good and Evil.0EcologyConturbos live without rhyme or reason, but only in reaction.
