Chasme, by any definition are abmoniations, resembling some hideous cross-brred of humans and giant flys. Though predominately giant flys, their heads look human, with the exception of their proboscis and their 3rd set of legs are in fact humanoid limbs ending in hands with opposable thumbs CombatSpell-like Abilities (Su): Chasme can cast the following spells as 8th level sorcerers (save DC 11 + spell level): at will - darkness, detect good (always active), detect invisibility (always active), insect plague, ray of enfeeblement, telekinesis, teleport without error (self +25kg of inanimated objects).Droning (Su): Chasme can buzz and drone in a horrid rasping voice. All listeners within 30ft must make a Will save (DC 15) or fall in a comatose sleep for 2d4 hours. Sleeping victims can be awakened by being spashed with water or slapping.Fear aura (Su): All creatures upon seeing a chasme must make a Will save (DC 15) or be affected by fear (as the arcane spell) for 1d4 hours.Wounding (Ex): All wounds caused by claw attacks continue to bleed for 2hp per round (cumulative with each hit), until magically healed.Summon Tanar'ri (Sp): Once per day, a chasme can summon 2d10 manes, 1d4+1 cambions or 1 chasme (40% success)Habitat/SocietyNone0EcologyFor more detailed information, please see the Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix (pg. 99).
