Baku are huge elephantine creatures with the tail of a lizard. The Baku's rear feet end in leonine paws complete with claws. The baku's back is covered with dragonlike scales running from their head all the way to the end of their tail. They have a short trunk, usually four feet in length. For more information see the Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix (pg. 30-31). CombatTrumpet (Ex): All Baku have the ability to let out a trumpeting roar. This trumpet affects only those of opposing alignment to the trumpeting baku. All those of the proper alignment within 40 feet take 2d6 points of damage and must succeed on a Will save (DC 25) or run as if affected by fear (cast by a 12th wizard) for 2d6 rounds.Psionics (Su): All baku have the powers of 12th psions, this includes all 10 psionic combat modes. For more information see the psion description in the Psionics Handbook (pg. 7).Invisibilty (Su): All baku can use their psionic powers to become invisible at will. They expend no power points for this and any check always succeeds. For more information see the Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix (pg. 30-31)Habitat/SocietyGood aligned baku genrally live secretly among humankind using their psionic powers to polymorph into a humanoid form, choosing to do good and help out where ever possible.
