The Asuras is a peculiar creature found across all upper planes. They have bird-like talons for feet and wings of burning fire. Their skin is marble-white and their eyes are orbs of purest fire. For more information see the Planes of Conflict Monstrous Supplement (pg. 4) CombatSpells: Asuras can cast divine spells from the cleric list and the Air, Chaos, Fire, Good and War domains as 9th level clerics (save DC 18 + spell level).Trumpet (Su): Large group of asuras blow mighty trumpets while entering battle, the sound of which chills a dark soul to its core. All evil creatures of 3 or fewer HD within 10 miles must succeed at a Will save (DC 17) or suffer a –2 morale penalty to attacks, AC, and saves for one day. A creature that resisted the effect cannot be affected by those asuras’ trumpets for one day.Burning Wind (Su): Three or more asuras can create a burning wind as a standard action by flapping their wings. Evil creatures inside a 30-foot cone suffer 3d6 points of fire damage per round, half if they succeed in a Reflex save (DC 17).Alternate Form (Su): An asuras can assume any humanoid form as a standard action. This ability is similar to the polymorph self spell but allows only humanoids and can be used twice per day.Discern Lies (Su): The asuras’ golden fiery eyes always discern lies as the spell cast by a 9th level cleric.True Seeing (Su): This is identical with true seeing cast by a 9th level cleric and be used up to three times a day.Habitat/SocietyThe Asuras are organized into celestial hosts, though there is little order beyond this, each host operates well together, with each Asuras gladly enjoying the commands of it's superiors. For more information see the Planes of Conflict Monstrous Supplement (pg. 4)0EcologyAsuras' gain all their required sustenance by drawing forth energies from the Plane of Positive Energy, for this reason they are devoid of wordly concerns like food, air and sleep. For more information see the Planes of Conflict Monstrous Supplement (pg. 4)
